Obituary For Annette Burnside

Annette Burnside, 61, of Philadelphia, Mississippi passed on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 , from University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, August 27, 2023 from Mt. Nebo M.B. Church in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Donald Rest Cemetery in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Visitation will be held 1:00 P.M. - 2:20 P.M. Sunday, August 27, 2023 from Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia. Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia is in charge of all arrangements.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, E.L. Burnside, one daughter, Tynesha ( Demetrius) Yarbrough, seven sisters, Ethel Harris, Wanda (Rev. Arthur) Taylor, Rosa McAfee (Frederick Mallard), Annie Black, Dorothy P. Nash, all of Philadelphia, Mississippi, Bettie C. Black of Plano, Texas and Joyce (Derek) Baker of Walnut Grove, Mississippi, six brothers, Undra (Tequila) Black, John Allen (Bobbie) Wells, Mujahid Sabree, Jowasky Black all of Philadelphia, Mississippi, James Black, Fred Lester Black of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, three grandchildren, Aaliyah Black, Freyunna Yarbrough and Demoni Yarbrough, all of Philadelphia, Mississippi; four sisters-in-law, Bonnie (Larry) Holloway, Rebecca (James) Yarbrough, Kathy Burnside and Willie Maude Peeples and a host of other relatives, nieces, nephews, and close friends.

    I have been knowing Annette what it seems like forever. Take your rest you deserve it. She would always acknowledge no matter where we were if I didn't see her first.
