Dorothy Sue Brown,72, of Philadelphia, Mississippi  passed on Saturday, August 10, 2024, from Neshoba General Hospital in Philadelphia, Mississippi.  Graveside Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 16, 2024 from Donald Rest Cemetery in Philadelphia, Mississippi.  Visitation will be held 9:30 A.M. - 10:30 A.M. Friday, August 16, 2024 for the General public.  Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia is in charge of all arrangements.

Dorothy Sue Brown leaves to cherish her precious memories to her four children: Andrea, Jamika, Kenji (Marie), and Kensley; three sisters; Nora (Billy) McDonald, Mary Louise (George), and Sheryle (James) Young; and one brother Alfa Lee Davis.

Dorothy Sue Brown also leaves to cherish her memories her grandchildren: Rashedia, Ykeem, Latarian (Pooh), Javaskic (JV), Jakarian (Keon), Kenji, Danijia, Antuze, Treasure, Adyasia, Zidaysia, and Micah Lee0The Boy).

She leaves one great granddaughter Kenaha and five great-great grandsons; Keegan, Aston, DaKari, Karter, and Zi'yon; and a host of many, many friends.

She loved her family and enjoyed entertaining her friends and family.  She absolutely loved cooking, listening to music and watching her favorite TV series.  If you knew anything about "Super," she spoke her mind and told it like it was.  She also loved her cats, Stella, Magic, and Chloe.

She was a member of Morning Star M.B. Church where she loved to serve the Lord and loved to pray.
