Eddie Ray Hill

Eddie Ray "Skeet" Hill, 66, of Philadelphia, Mississippi passed on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 from his residence in Neshoba County, Mississippi.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 26, 2024 from Mt. Nebo M.B. Church in Philadelphia, Mississippi.  Burial will follow in Donald Rest Cemetery in Philadelphia, Mississippi.  Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. Thursday, July 25, 2024 for the General Public from Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia.  Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia is in charge of all arrangements.

He was the third born to the late Eddie B. Hill and Carlean Brand-Hill in Philadelphia, MS on July 26, 1957. He lived his life in Neshoba County. He was employed with Choctaw Housing Authority for 19 years before retiring. He loved spending time with family and friends. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Eddie B. Hill and Carlean Brand-Hill; brother, Richard Hill; sister, Charlotte Hill; grandson, Demaree Gaddis; and great granddaughter, Imani De’Rae York. 

He leaves to cherish his memories his son, Pedreco Lyons of Hattiesburg, MS; daughters, Tiah York, Nutasha McAfee, and Monique Gaddis all of Philadelphia, MS; sisters, Betty “Sue” Hudson and Deborah Hill both of Philadelphia, MS; brothers, Terry (Essie) Hoskins, Randy Hill, and Scottie Hill all of Philadelphia, MS; Seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Pallbearers are Kezwon McWilliams, Scottie Brown, Carl Payton, Tim Burks, Ken Grace, and Charles Lee Parker. Rev O.J. Hudson is the officiate of services.
