Edward Junior Yates, 67, of Philadelphia, Mississippi passed on Sunday, December 15, 2024 in Neshoba County, Mississippi.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 21, 2024, from Beck Funeral Home Chapel of Philadelphia.  Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah M.B. Church Cemetery in Preston, Mississippi.  Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. Friday, December 20, 2024, from Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia.  Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia is in charge of all arrangements.

Mr. Edward Yates is preceded in death by his parents, Pete Bennett and Inez Yates. Brothers; James Yates, Fletcher Yates, Robert Yates, Roy Yates, Will James Bennett, and Johnny Ray Bennett. Sisters; Edna Bennett and Frankie Johnson.

Mr. Edward Junior Yates is survived by his wife; Rubye Lee Nunn; Life Partner, Linda Pearl Pace of Philadelphia, MS; daughter, Cynthia Madison of Louisville, MS; four grandchildren; brothers, Melvin Yates of Ackerman, MS, John H Yates of Chicago, Il, Robert Pete Bennett of Louisville, MS, and JW Bennett of Louisville, MS; sisters, Mary Yates of Dekalb, MS, Annette Rush of Preston, MS, Joyce Yates of Philadelphia, MS, and Christine Coleman of Louisville, MS. One sister in law , Callie Yates of Louisville, MS.
