Obituary For Elder Freddie D. Plair

Elder Freddie D. Plair, 83, of Starkville, MS., passed on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at his home. Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 11 a.m., from Still Valley M. B. Church, 122 Armstrong St., Louisville, MS. 39339. Visitation will be Friday, from 4 until 6 p.m., from the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Louisville Memorial Cemetery, Louisville, MS. Beck Funeral Home of Louisville in charge of arrangements.

Pastor Freddie D. Plair, Sr. was born February 28, 1940. He passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 16, 2023. Pastor Emeritus at Mt. Olive COGIC in Louisville, MS, serving under Bishop Daniel Littleton. Former Pastor of Saint Mark COGIC, Chicago, IL, and District Superintendent of Northern Illinois Jurisdiction under Bishop Cody Marshall.

Survived by his loving wife, Dr. Bridget Plair; his children, Debylenne Plair Jones (Eric), Freddie Plair Jr., Carneice Plair Jones (Bishop Earl Davis), Sheriece Ortiz (Jose’); stepchildren, Eddie Woods III, Tiffany Alfred (Che), Nancy Carbins; chosen children, Olivia Williams (Vernon), Jennifer Carbins, and Xena Hawkins.
