Mrs. Ethel Thames, 97, of Louisville, MS., passed on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at the Baptist Medical Center, Columbus, MS. Funeral Service will be Sunday, June 18, 2023 at 2 p.m., from the MOBH District Bldg., 121 Armstrong St., Louisville, MS. Visitation will be Saturday, from 4 until 6 p.m., from the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Friendship Church Cemetery, Gholson, MS. Beck Funeral Home of Louisville In charge of arrangements.

Forever cherishing her loving and precious memories one daughter, Ethel B (Craig) Harwell; four sons, Lester (Ada), Willie (Ethel Lou), Lenard and Fredrick “Jody” Thames all of Louisville, MS; twenty six grandchildren; eighty great grandchildren' sixty three great great grandchildren; one sister, Nancy Seales of Philadelphia, MS; one brother, Howard (Christine) Harrison of Omaha, NE; three sisters in law, Frances Harrison of Harrisburg, PA, Ruby Johnson of Flint, MI and Mary Alice Goss of Jackson, MS; two brothers in law, Fred Evans of Philadelphia, MS and Mack Evans of Flint, MI; a true friend/neighbor Myrtis Wragg, Michael Duff who she considered a bonus son and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
