Gwendolyn Lugail Coffey

Gwendolyn Lugail Coffey, 60, of McCool, MS., passed on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at her home.  Funeral Service will be Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 11 a.m., from First Unity United Methodist Church, 68 Coleman Road, Weir, MS 39772. Visitation will be Friday, February 21, 2025 from 4 until 6 p.m., from the Funeral Home in Weir, MS.  Burial will be in the Mount Nebo Cemetery, Weir, MS.  Beck Funeral Home of Weir in charge of arrangements.

Gwendolyn was born March 25, 1964 to the parents of LV Smith and Earnesteen Johnson Smith in Choctaw County Mississippi.

Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her parents, LV and Earnesteen Johnson Smith; sister, Jacqueline Johnson.

Gwendolyn is survived by; daughters, LaShonda Lugail Smith (Tyrone), LaTonya Renae Smith (Anthony), LaKeadra Taira Coffey; Bonus children, Vanessa Gibson and Charlotte Miller; ten grandchildren; siblings, Larry Johnson (Helen), Carl Smith, Michael Smith, Rena Smith and Laura Gibbs; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
