James Madison, 72, of Philadelphia, Mississippi passed on Friday, November 15, 2024, from University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.  Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 19, 2024, from Jerusalem Temple Church in Philadelphia, Mississippi.  Burial will follow in Donald Rest Cemetery in Philadelphia, Mississippi.  Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. Monday, November 18, 2024, from Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia.  Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia is in charge of all arrangements.

Mr. James Madison is survived by his wife, Alice Peebles Madison; children, Tresonya Durden of Byram, MS, Chasidy Madison, Kerrile Madison, and Preshan Clay all of Jackson, MS, Kimberly Madison of Hendersonville, TN, Damille Madison of Kansas City, MO, Cynthia Edwards of Dekalb, MS,  Alisa Harris, Rachel Clemons, and April Coburn all of Philadelphia, MS; four sisters, Nellie Madison and Helen Jones both of Ripley, TN, Alice Futch of Okeechobee, FL, and Dorothy Madison of Light, TN; three brothers, Frank Madison, Jr, of Preston, MS, Johnny Madison, of Davenport, IA, and Willie Madison of Hall, TN.
