Mr. Jessie Olander Lyon, 79, of Philadelphia, Mississippi passed on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from Mt. Ary M.B. Church in Philadelphia, Mississippi . Visitation will be held 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 for the General Public. Burial will take place in the Mt. Ary M.B. Church Cemetery in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia is in charge of all arrangements.

Jessie Olander Lyon is survived by his three children, Teresa Lyons of Jackson, Mississippi, Jessie ( Stephanie) Lyons and Kela Lyons, both of Philadelphia, Mississippi; three brothers; Marshall Lyons of Flint, Michigan, Andy ( Doris) Lyon and William Lyons, both of Philadelphia, Mississippi, seven grandchildren; Justin ( Chiquita) Porter, Cheetara Carter, Jayla Lyons, Ja' Quille Lyons, Quayla Lyons, Kambry Lyons and Stephon Hunt; nine great-granchildren, Paityence McBeath, Messiah Carter, Tianna Lyons, Trinity Lyons, Kasyn Lyons, Michaela Lyons, Jordyn Vaugh, Olivia Conley and Rylee Porter; three in -laws; Ethel Thames ( Louisville, Mississippi), Nancy Seales ( Philadelphia, Mississippi) and Howard ( Christine) Harrison ( Omaha, Nebraska).
