Joshua Jermaine Taylor

Funeral Services for Mr. Joshua "Skippy" Jermaine Taylor will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 17, 2024 from Mt. Nebo M.B. Church in Philadelphia, Mississippi.  Burial will follow in Donald Rest Cemetery of Philadelphia, Mississippi.  Visitation will held 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. Friday, February 16, 2024, from Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia.  Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia is in charge of all arrangements.

Joshua Taylor was born June 15, 1994 to Arthur Taylor and to the late Nina Johnson Taylor.

Joshua Taylor was a graduate of Philadelphia High School class of 2013.  He attended Meridian Community College with dreams of becoming a computer programmer.

He worked various jobs before deciding to move to Texas where he worked for Vistech Manufacturing Solutions in San Antonio.  In his spare time, he loved to play video games and watch his favorite Anime shows while talking to his stepmother Wanda, Dad, and his cousins who were more like brothers from birth, Duran and Darius.

Joshua Jermaine Taylor departed this life Friday, February 9, 2024, from Pam Specialty Care Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

He is survived by his father, Rev Arthur James Taylor; two brothers, Jowaski Black and James Triplett both of Philadelphia, MS. 

 Rev. Dr. Derek Henson will officiate services. Pallbearers are Duran McBeath, Imarion Black, Desmond Sledge, Taishon Black, LaDarius Johnson, and Cenika Black.
