Karlvell Howard

Karlvell Howard, 74, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed on March 24, 2023 in Knox County, Tennessee. Graveside Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 15, 2023 from Donald Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be held 9:30A.M. - 10:15 A.M. Saturday, April 15, 2023 from Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia. Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia is in charge of all arrangements.

Karlvell Howard was born in Philadelphia, MS on July 12, 1948, to the late Dixie Lee Howard and Ber C Jordan.

He received elementary and secondary education in schools in Philadelphia, MS. Karlvell graduated from Kentucky State University in Frankfort, KY. Karlvell attended Kentucky State University on a football scholarship. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in physical education.

Following graduation, Karlvell lived in Cleveland, Ohio, working with his father. Karlvell later returned to Philadelphia, MS. Upon his return, Karlvell worked as a firefighter for the Philadelphia fire department. Additionally, Karlvell was employed by Neshoba county school system as a coach to junior high students.

Mr. Karlvell Howard leaves to cherish his memory one daughter Karla Howard Delaney, one son-in-law Bill Delaney of Minden, LA; three grandsons Zaedin, Braydin and Kay’den; and life long friend Marcia Bearden of Atlanta, GA and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Karlvell was predeceased by five brothers.
