Leon Baxstrum, 89, of Philadelphia, Mississippi passed on Friday, February 10, 2023 from his residence in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 18, 2023 from Jerusalem Temple Church in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Final disposition will follow in Donald Rest Cemetery in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. Friday, February 17, 2023 from Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia. Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia is in charge of all arrangements.

Mr. Leon Baxstrum leaves to cherish his memories, three children, Belinda (Davis) Harris, Sherry Baxstrum, Lynette ( Durwyn) King, three grandchildren that he raised as his own, Markelius Baxstrum, Darrius Thames, Kiara Baxstrum, grandson Devin Leon king, ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, two sisters, Nellie Jane " Ola Mae" Hathorn and Gwendolyn Chatman. Also acknowledging, Illya (Shekelia) McClendon, Kira (Travis) Willis, Rafeon McClendon, two sisters-in-law, Shirley Baxstrum and Frances Baxstrum, a very special niece, Vivian Seales, along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
