Lester Thomas Swanigan, 73, of Louisville, MS., passed on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at the Carrington Nursing Center, Starkville, MS. Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 29, 2021, at 11 a.m., from Lonely Valley CME Church, Louisville, MS., Visitation will be Friday, from 4 until 6 p.m., from the Funeral Home. Mr. Swanigan, was born on May 17, 1948, to the parents of Willie Lee Swanigan and Azzie Ree Triplett Swanigan. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Azzie Swanigan and his Step-Mother, Earlean Sherrod Swanigan; son, Shandarill Swanigan, and brother, Willie Swanigan. He is survived by: Wife; Mary Alice Swanigan; Father, Willie Lee Swanigan; Son, Lester K. Swanigan, Jacksonville, FL., Daughters; Sherry Searcy of Detroit, MI., and Michelle Harden of Carthage, MS., Sisters; Arlinda Swanigan Edwards(Johnny), Dorothy Johnson(Authur), Crawford, MS., Valerie Swanigan, Evonne Triplett(Jimmy), Toni Spann, Regina Spann; Brothers, Paris Swanigan(Eyvonne), Larry Swanigan(Mary), Carl Swanigan(Rosaland), Jeffery Gleen, James Vaughn, Joel Frazier, Isiah Branch (Leona), a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery.
