Mackie B. Clemons, 86, of Philadelphia, Mississippi passed on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 from Merit Health River Oaks Hospital in Flowood, Mississippi.  Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 28, 2025, from Jerusalem Temple Church in Philadelphia, Mississippi.  Burial will follow in Hopewell U.M. Church Cemetery in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Visitation will be held 1:00 P.M. - 1:45 P.M. Friday, February 28, 2025, from Jerusalem Temple Church.   Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia is in charge of all arrangements.

Mackie B. Clemons is preceded in death by his father Norman Grant Clemons and his mother Mary E. Clemons. He is preceded in death by one granddaughter Kayla Gordon. He is survived by his children: Vila (Vie) Gordon  of Philadelphia, MS., Lorene Clemons (Dravin Clark) of Florence, AL., Mackie (Micheal) Clemons, Jr., of Flint, MI., and Jimmy Talley of Philadelphia, MS; grandchildren, Michael (Dre) Clemons Britteny of Flint, MI., Donnie Johnson (Chelsey Jeanne) of Grand Banks, MI., Chiquita (Kita) Johnson of Florence, AL., Smart (CJ) Johnson of Philadelphia, MS., and Tneah Crosby  (Avery Butler) of Philadelphia, MS and 20 great grandchildren. 

Pallbearers are Trey Griffin, Allen Buckley, Tyler Latimer, Carey Harmon, George Harmon, and Avery Butler.

Minister Lester Buckley is the officiate of services.
