Roy Gladney

Roy Gladney, 80, of Louisville, MS., passed on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at the Winston County Medical Center, Louisville, MS. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 11 a.m., from Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 142 Union Chapel Road, Louisville, MS. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. until service time from the Church. Burial will be in the Union Chapel Church Cemetery.  Beck Funeral Home of Louisville in charge of arrangements.

Roy, was born July 2, 1944 to the parents of Charlie Gladney and Lonnia Seals Gladney in Winston County Mississippi. 

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Gladney and Lonnia Gladney and his brother, Odean Gladney.

Roy is survived by his wife,  Mattie Gladney; sons, Darell (Yolanda) Gladney, David (Brittani) Gladney, and Dwayne (Regina) Gladney; nine grands, Brandon, Hope, Austin, McKinley, Camille, Gabrielle, Journey, Marshun, Montell and one great grandchild, Koa; siblings, Lorene (Henry) Turner, Corene (Edgar) Crosby and Charlie (Barbara) Gladney. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and family.
