Ruth L. Chambers, 93, of Philadelphia, Mississippi passed on Thursday, January 9, 2025, from her residence in Philadelphia, Mississippi.  Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, January 16, 2025, from Stevens Chapel U.M. Church in Philadelphia, Mississippi.  Burial will follow in Mt. Nebo Cemetery in State Line, Mississippi.  Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia.  Beck Funeral Home Philadelphia is in charge of all arrangements.

She leaves to cherish her memory her memory her beloved  daughter, Gail Chambers of  Philadelphia, MS; grandson, Ira James Chambers of Philadelphia, MS; great-granddaughter, Aubree Oaklyn Chambers of Philadelphia, MS; sisters-in-law-, Polly Chambers and Mert Chambers of Jackson, MS; dedicated cousins, Larry Bivins and Darwin Bivins of Moss Point, MS; special Daughters, Connie Donald and Pamela Hunter of Philadelphia, MS, and Icelee (Christopher) Hoskins of Atlanta, GA; Godson, Earthy (Dameshia) Donald of Washington, DC; along with a host of relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Ethel Bivins; her husband, James Chambers; and her brothers, Ira Bivins.
