William Douglas Lockett

William Douglas Lockett, 76, of Louisville, MS., passed on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at the Choctaw County Nursing Home, Ackerman, MS.  Funeral Service will be Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 2 p.m. from Beck Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Friday from 4 until 6 p.m., from the Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Springhill Church Cemetery.  Beck Funeral Home of Louisville in charge of arrangements.

William was born February 7, 1948 to the parents of Willie Gene Lockett and Ada Marie Cotton Lockett in Winston County Mississippi.

William was preceded in death by his parents; children, Worthy D. Lockett and Tenia Lockett; siblings, Brandon Lockett, Prentiss Lockett, Willie B. Lockett, Johnnie Gail Lockett, Selma Triplett and Betty Lockett.

William is survived by children, Douglas Lockett, Jr. Clifton Porter (Catina), Dimario Parks (Lakaski), Marie Triplett, Pheebe Lockett, Angela Eiland, Dominique Houston, Kavedrick Lockett and Barry Triplett; siblings, Mable Thames (W.C.), Katie Hughes, Brenda Lockett, Gloria Johnson and Victor Lockett; 20 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and family.
